Beef Barley, aka Steak Soup

As I was stirring this beast up in the crockpot, my 8-year old sat on the counter next to me with WIDE eyes and asked, "Is that steak soup, mom?!"

This favorite middle child of mine loves steak.

Being that this soup has tons of nutrients and all whole food ingredients and I really want the kids to plow through it

, I smiled and assured her that yes, this sure is steak soup.

And as always, it is simple as heck. Toss it all in the crockpot and press go.
